sed -i doesn't work on AIX

To change a file on only one command  :

perl -p -i -e "s/iiii/uuu/" titi

    I know... i write my tips in french, and when i have some time, i try to translate it... But most of the time, i put it as is, for me to find it easily... But, you should teach aix lessons, you have the knowledge and you are "pedagogical"(?) in your explanations...
